Recently, Yuchai’s main non-road models YCA05-T48, YCA05-T40, and YCA08-T40 have completed the non-road National IV emission type approval certification at the China Automotive Technology Research Center and the National Motor Vehicle Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Chongqing) respectively, marking Yuchai has become the only engine manufacturer in China that has passed both the non-road country 4 SCR and EGR dual-line type certifications, and it is also the company that has passed the most non-road country 4 certification models.

Yuchai has always practiced the concept of green development and led the industry's emission upgrades with technological innovation. In October 2018, it was the first to release 10 non-road country IV diesel engines, making adequate preparations for the non-road country IV upgrading. In December 2020, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment officially issued the non-road national four regulations. Yuchai started the declaration of non-road national four emission announcements in the first time, strictly in accordance with the regulations and the certification rules of the environmental protection department, and completed the YCA05 (EGR route) ), YCA05 (SCR route), YCA08 (SCR route) certification.

Under the full-scale video surveillance of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Yuchai’s three non-road engines have successfully completed steady-state and transient emission cycle and non-standard emission cycle verification, more than 20 most comprehensive NCD and PCD verifications, and consider the needs of multiple applications The most stringent 100-hour continuous regeneration verification was selected, and finally the most stringent emission limit requirements of the 56-560kW emission power range were successfully met, and the type certification report certificate was obtained.

Yuchai's non-road national four engines are positioned for higher quality configuration and more precise control. While meeting the requirements of lower emissions, quality upgrades, and extreme environmental adaptability, it further reduces post-processing maintenance operations and meets users' higher mechanical attendance requirements.

Yuchai adheres to customer-centricity, strives for excellence in products, and continues to create value for customers, with sales and market share reaching new highs repeatedly. Among them, wheat machines, corn machines, peanut machines, sugarcane machines, tractors with 80 horsepower or more, wheel excavators, air compressors, drilling rigs and other market segments have ranked first in the industry.

In January 2021, Yuchai’s non-road power sales exceeded 25,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 250.4%, a record high in a single month. Among them, the sales volume of construction machinery power increased by 186.2% year-on-year, and the sales volume of agricultural equipment power increased by 277.2% year-on-year, breaking all-time highs.

Starting from customer needs, and finally customer satisfaction, Yuchai can only succeed if the customer succeeds. Yuchai cooperated with the strategic partner Hangcha Group to complete the development and plateau calibration test of YCA05-T48 supporting Hangcha forklifts according to different user conditions and scene requirements. A few days ago, five Hangcha internal combustion counterbalanced forklifts were the first to obtain the environmental information disclosure list for non-road four-stage forklifts. All the five models are equipped with Yuchai non-road country four engines.

Yuchai will take the lead in completing the type certification of all main sales models in the second quarter of 2021, making full preparations for Beijing and other places to implement non-road national four regulations and launch non-road products in advance. Editor/He Yuting
