Cambodia approves 14 construction projects in February 2021

In February 2021, the Cambodian government approved 14 new investment projects through the Cambodia Development Council, with a total investment of more than 160 million U.S. dollars, creating more than 5,000 job opportunities for the Cambodian people.

Project distribution by province

According to the report of the Cambodia Development Council, among the 14 investment projects, there are 4 in Svay Rieng Province, involving tires, furniture, outdoor barbecue equipment and clothing. The total investment is about 100 million U.S. dollars, creating nearly 1,500 jobs for the people. Opportunities; Secondly, there are 3 investment projects in Phnom Penh, involving clothing and clinic business, with a total investment of approximately US$12.5 million, creating nearly 1,200 job opportunities for the people.

Then there are two investment projects each in Kangla Province and Seju Province, involving electric motorcycles and tricycle assembly, clothing, and auto parts. The total investment is about 35.2 million US dollars, creating nearly 4,300 job opportunities for the people; in addition, tea Jiao Province, Kampong Chhnyang Province and Guo Kung Province also each have an investment project involving wooden furniture, solar power generation, and solar panels. The total investment is about 19 million US dollars, creating nearly 400 job opportunities for the people.
