On March 1, 2021, China Metallurgical Saudi Branch and ThyssenKrupp Saudi Contracting Company signed the Saudi YAMAMA Cement Plant Project Construction Contract Settlement Supplement 7 and agreed on matters such as subsequent dismantling and payment.
The construction contract for the Saudi Arabia YAMAMA cement plant project was signed on January 28, 2016. The project includes two new cement plant production lines with a daily output of 10,000 tons of clinker. The scope of construction includes civil engineering, steel structure production and installation, electrical and mechanical equipment, pipeline installation, and refractory materials. All construction projects such as construction, thermal insulation construction, and factory roads. In April 2020, the No. 1 production line of the YAMAMA Cement Plant project was successfully put into trial production with materials, and the ordinary OPC cement and bulk cement were successfully produced and stored in the cement warehouse.
The YAMAMA project is Saudi Arabia's largest cement plant under construction. The scale of two cement production lines with a daily output of 10,000 tons is also among the best in the world. The outstanding performance in project construction and team management has been fully affirmed by the owners and the industry is concerned. The project has already applied for the Luban Award for Overseas Projects of China Construction Project and the Quality Award for Metallurgical Engineering.
