Always work to your own standards

Later, he successively participated in higher level competitions in the industry, and finally he was selected to the national training team. Zou Bin had confidence in his practical skills, but because he had not read enough books, he could hardly understand geometric knowledge, figure calculation and calculation, which directly affected the beauty of his works. Fortunately, the teacher did not give up and encouraged him to stick to it again and again, to strengthen theoretical courses and compile rhyming songs to strengthen his memory.

At that time, Zou Bin's heart only one idea: must stick to it, for the country to go to war, eat more bitter I am not afraid! When I couldn't calculate the graphic data, I built a wall, checked the drawings, checked for errors, knocked the wall down, pulled it down, and started building it all over again. For eight months, I practiced this over and over again.

At the 43rd World Skills Competition, Zou Bin won the prize for masonry projects, which was China's first breakthrough in this category. At that moment, he had a new understanding of the craftsman spirit. He had to accept the challenge with full tenacity and pursue the ultimate with full patience.

Happiness comes from labor

In September 2020, Zou Bin attended the forum of grass-roots representatives hosted by General Secretary Xi Jinping in Hunan. Xi Jinping said, "There is no distinction between high and low in labor. After listening to the general secretary's words, Zou Bin felt a strong sense of happiness in his heart, which came from labor.

At the annual session of the National People's Congress, Zou proposed accelerating the transformation of migrant workers into workers in the new construction industry.
