The netizen said in the question that as an important city in Anhui Province, Wuhu to Hefei still has no high-speed rail, and the Hefei Expressway has been repairing. Traffic jams are the norm. “The two cities need closer connections, and the inconvenient traffic is a big obstacle to the exchange between the two cities.”

Anhui Development and Reform Commission explained that in addition to the Shangqiu-Hefei-Wuhu-Hangzhou high-speed rail project being implemented in the above, the Hefei-Wuhu-Xuancheng-Ningguo intercity railway has been planned in the planning of the inter-city railway network in Anhui Province.
