On March 16, 2021, the Zhangye branch of the mobilization meeting for major projects in Gansu Province to start and resume work was held in Zhangye Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park. It is reported that Zhangye City has started 234 projects of various types with a total investment of 81.23 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 25.86 billion yuan, covering various fields such as big data industry, equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, cultural tourism, and urban infrastructure.

There are 116 industrialization projects in the start-up projects, with an annual planned investment of 13.9 billion yuan, accounting for 54% of the annual planned investment in the resumption of work. Mainly include China Cloud Technology Group (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. invested 3 billion yuan in the intelligent manufacturing industry project, Lanzhou Energy Investment Group invested 2.12 billion yuan in Jinchangyuan 1.2 million tons of tamping coking project, Zhangye Urban Investment Company invested 730 million yuan Zhangye Big Data Industrial Park and other key projects.

Among them, the Zhongyun Technology Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Project is constructed in two phases. The first phase has invested 1 billion yuan to build SMT patch production lines and product assembly lines; the second phase plans to invest 2 billion yuan to produce injection molding, tablet computers and other electronic products and accessories . After the project is fully completed, the annual output value is expected to reach 2.5 billion yuan, leading and promoting the rapid development of Zhangye's advanced manufacturing industry.

According to Zhangye City Mayor Xie Yousheng, Zhangye City will adhere to the new development concept, regard the construction of major projects as the main battlefield for high-quality development, and promote the green transformation and high-quality development of Zhangye.

It is understood that Zhangye City plans to implement 536 fixed asset investment projects in 2021, with a total investment of 259.86 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 40.13 billion yuan. Among them, there are 209 continued projects with a total investment of 64.23 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 14.79 billion yuan; 327 new projects with a total investment of 195.63 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 25.34 billion yuan.
