Alibaba Cloud Data Center Supercomputing Base Project: This project is a nationally distributed super data center centered on Alibaba Cloud’s national development strategy in North China, Beijing as the center, South China as the Shenzhen-Guangzhou center, East China and Shanghai as the center, and West Chengdu as the center. It will cover Chengdu and Chongqing. It is also a new infrastructure project that has been introduced in Chengdu, Sichuan Province and the first major industrial project to settle in the eastern new district of Chengdu. Upstream and downstream companies in the new economic industrial chain, such as big data, artificial intelligence, etc., gather and develop in the eastern new area of Chengdu to build a new economic industry ecosystem and drive the output value of nearly 100 billion in digital economy-related industries in the southwest.

The project is located in Jianzhou New City and Future Science and Technology City in the Eastern New District, each with a land area of about 300 mu, with a total investment of not less than 50 billion yuan. In accordance with the principle of “low carbon, green, safe and efficient”, the IDC center, data research and development center, cloud computing, big data and other industrial ecological bases will be built. The operation center will be located in the future science and technology city, and the two parks will physically backup each other to ensure Reliability of business operations.

Jianzhou New City Project is located on the east side of Fangjialin Avenue in Jianzhou New City, with a total area of 301.9 mu. The project consists of 10 data center buildings, 220 user substations, ECC building operation management center, etc., with a total construction area of about 250,000 square meters. It is planned to invest about 25 billion yuan to build a super-large data center base with more than 200,000 server cabinets to provide first-class digital infrastructure for big data, cloud computing, smart city, software, e-commerce and other services in the central and western regions.
