With the completion of the Fuxia high-speed rail, in order to accelerate the rapid development of the Haixi urban agglomeration. Recently, good news came from the construction site of China's first 350km/h cross-sea high-speed railway from Fuzhou to Xiamen high-speed railway, and the main tower of the Meizhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, a full-line control project, was successfully capped.
The main line of the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway is 277 kilometers in length, crossing three bays of Meizhou Bay, Quanzhou Bay and An Bay successively. There are 7 stations along the line in Fuzhou South, Fuqing West, Putian, Quangang, Quanzhou South, Xiamen North and Zhangzhou.
The Meizhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge is located in Putian City and Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, with a total length of 14.7 kilometers. The main bridge is a prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame low-tower cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 180 meters and a planned 3000-ton waterway across the Meizhou Bay. There are two double-column main towers in the north and south. The tower above the bridge deck is 30 meters high, with a total of 28 cable stays. It is the first cable-stayed bridge with a low-tower tower over the sea in China.
Southeast Coastal Railway Fujian Co., Ltd. established a construction technology research team, which successively carried out technological innovations such as ultra-long offshore trestle bridges, tidal cofferdams, large-diameter deep-water pile foundations, and applied BIM technology for visualization technology to improve construction accuracy and ensure project quality.
Railroad builders overcome the impact of severe sea weather such as heavy rains and typhoons, adopt pre-embedded rigid frameworks, increase control points and other means to achieve precise positioning of cable saddles, build BIM models, and optimize the layout of steel bars to ensure smooth construction.
After the opening of the Fuxia high-speed rail, the running time of trains in the two places will be greatly shortened, which can effectively solve the problem of railway "bottleneck" constraints in the southeast coastal areas of China, and promote Fujian's rapid integration into China's high-speed railway network to play the role of the coastal high-speed passenger transport corridor. The Fuxia high-speed rail is scheduled to open to traffic in 2022 and is an important part of the coastal passage in China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network.
