According to the news, the tender is open to Indonesian and foreign individuals as well as group urban construction and urban planning experts.
The report stated that the government has put forward a series of requirements for the participating projects, including the concept of “smart city” and “forest city”. The competition fund has allocated more than $3 million for the prize money, and the prize money is $140,000.
The Jakarta Global newspaper stated: "The plan to build communications and public infrastructure in the new capital will be based on the winner's design plan in the second half of 2020. The first buildings in the new capital will be the presidential palace and the parliament building, which should be in 2024. Completed before the year."
