The Shanhai Expressway is an important supplementary part of the Hainan Provincial Middle Route Expressway Network. The lower structure pier adopts multi-cylindrical piers with round pile foundations, multi-square column piers with round pile foundations, and hollow The pier is equipped with a group pile foundation, and the abutment adopts pile-column abutment, ribbed abutment, and pile foundation.

The construction of the Jinjiang Bridge started in November 2018 and completed in June 2020. The bridge has a total length of 1047 meters. The highest pier 13# of the bridge is the highest pier in Hainan Province. The pier is 64 meters high. The upper structure adopts 30-meter and 40-meter prestressed concrete box girder. Multi-cylindrical piers are equipped with round pile foundations, and multi-hollow piers are equipped with group pile foundations. The abutments adopt pile-column abutments and pile foundations.

Maximum cost saving-K45 self-quarry

K45 was put into production from the quarry in November 2018. The starting and ending range of the stone processing point: K44+660～K45+334.8, the total length is 674.8 meters, the mined schist is about 1.6234 million cubic meters, and the cost is about 115 million yuan. High-speed SHTJ1 standard, SHTJ2 standard, SHTJ4 standard, SHTJ5 standard, SHLM1 standard, SHLM2 standard provide gravel. The K45 self-quarry is the top priority of the whole line, which effectively solves the problem of the extreme shortage of the gravel yard along the project and the high cost of long-distance transportation.

The Shanhai Expressway passes through the ecologically sensitive area in central Hainan. During the construction process, the project department has always adhered to the concept of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains", and implemented "markless" green construction to maximize the use of resources and reduce environmental damage.

Project meaning

The Shanhai Expressway is a key investment and construction project in the 13th Five-Year Plan period of Hainan Province, and also a key project of "Counties-County Expressway". After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it can quickly reach Haitang Bay from Wuzhishan, which enhances the economic radiation and driving role of central cities such as Haikou and Sanya to the central and southern regions of Hainan.
