On March 29, 2021, China National Technology Corporation and Bangladesh National Grid Corporation (PGCB) signed an EPC general contract for the Bangladesh World Bank-financed Chumuhani Substation Project. This project is the fourth contract signed by CNTIC in the field of Bangladesh's power grid, and it is also an important part of the construction project of the power transmission and transformation network in eastern Bangladesh supported by the World Bank.

The scope of work of the project includes the construction of a 230kV GIS substation, four 132kV GIS substations and the transformation of a 132kV GIS substation. The company is responsible for EPC general contracting work such as overall design, procurement, construction, commissioning and trial operation. In the next step, CNTIC will work together to fight the epidemic and make concerted efforts to make it effective to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
