On September 26, 2019, the first phase of the 6 million kilowatt demonstration project of Wulanchabu Wind Power Base was started in Siziwang Banner, marking the entry of the world's largest onshore wind power project into the construction phase. After completion, it can supply power to Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. 20 billion kWh will provide green energy for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
At the same time, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Government and the State Power Investment Corporation, the Wulanchabu Municipal Government and the National Power Investment Inner Mongolia Company respectively completed the deepening cooperation agreement signing of the project; Chahar New Energy Company and 5 host enterprises completed the contract of the host supply contract .
According to reports, the total investment of the first phase of the 6 million kilowatt demonstration project of Wulanchabu Wind Power Base is about 40 billion yuan. It is currently the largest single-on-shore wind power project in the world. The person in charge of the national power investment said that the centralized construction is so large. The scale of onshore wind farms is the first in China and abroad.
The project will adopt high-resolution global climate model, 5G communication, intelligent inspection robot and other advanced technologies, combined with optimized terrain layout of different terrains. The average capacity of the winning model is 4.16 MW, which drives the domestic onshore wind turbine from 2.0 trillion. The era of the tile reached the 4.0 MW era, and the failure rate was controlled within 0.5%, and the total number of operators was reduced by more than 50% compared with the conventional wind farm. After the project is completed, the power generation will be transported across the region to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei grid through a 500-kV AC channel, covering a total area of about 2072 square kilometers.
The person in charge of the construction party said: "After the completion of the Wulanchabu wind power base, about 20 billion kilowatt-hours of green power will be delivered to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region every year, replacing 6 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 16 million tons." In the project planning, the wind, light, grass, animal husbandry and agriculture mode of the wind power base will simultaneously promote tourism and agriculture and animal husbandry, and promote the integration and development of local animal husbandry, industry and service industry in Wulanchabu.
It is understood that the average wind speed in the project area is 7.28 m / s to 9.6 m / s, the wind direction is stable, the average annual utilization hours of wind power is about 3,500 hours, and the wind energy resources are of high quality and can be developed. At the same time, it is located in the plains and gentle hills, and the construction difficulty is relatively low. It is suitable for large-scale development. It is only about 400 kilometers away from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei power load center. It is the most suitable area for large-scale and affordable Internet access in China. Editor / Huang Lijun
