Chengde Mountain Resort is also known as “Chengde Palace” or “River River Palace”. There is a plaque hanging above the main entrance of the Summer Palace. The four characters of the "Summer Mountain Villa" are the royal scrolls of Emperor Kangxi. The font is thick and powerful. Although it has been shining for hundreds of years, you will find it when you look closely. The word "Xi" on the right side of the "Summer Mountain Villa" should be "Xin". Kangxi wrote the word "Xin" and wrote it into a typo. Judging from the historical records, Emperor Kangxi deliberately added a sum, which he believes is "this is a refuge from summer, not an escape from refuge." It turns out that the emperor is jealous of the meaning of "avoiding" and "escape". It is unlucky, so a big stroke and a cross, so there is no "evasion".

As the Manchus overthrew the Zhuming dynasty and established the Qing Dynasty, they used to sit on the prairie in the past, and between the Manchu and the Mongolian tribes who ate meat and sipped, changed from brotherhood to the relationship between the monarch and the minister, and the psychological gap made each other gradually. In order to reshape the Eight Banners Army's glory, Kangxi decided to lead tens of thousands of troops every year to the Mulan Paddock to hold the Autumn Festival to maintain combat effectiveness and strengthen armed forces.

Then there are 21 palaces along the way from Jingshi to Mulanweichang. The summer resort is in the middle of all the palaces. With the construction of the Outer Eight Temples, Chengde really played the role of "a lama temple, winning over 100,000 soldiers."
