Hangzhou Century Center, also known as "Hangzhou Gate", is composed of two towers about 310 meters high and a commercial podium, presenting a unique "H" shape. It is the highest landmark building approved for planning in Hangzhou.

As one of the key supporting projects for the Hangzhou Asian Games, Hangzhou Century Center has a novel architectural design, unique steel arch bridges and overhanging roofs, complex nodes, high production and installation accuracy requirements, difficult construction operations, and many technical difficulties during the construction process.

"The most difficult thing to overcome in Hangzhou Century Center is not the building height of about 310 meters, but the connecting part between the two towers." said Mr. Tian, the project leader.

The upper arch part designed according to the elements of Hangzhou "Gongchen Bridge" is called "steel arch bridge", which means that Hangzhou is connected to the world. This hoisting is the first time that the main steel structure of the steel arch bridge is closed. The giant bridge structure with a main span of about 62 meters, a height of about 34 meters, and a width of about 58 meters, is the first time that the two towers "hand in hand".

“The outside of the bridge is covered by a suspended roof, glass and metal decorative curtain wall, which puts forward higher requirements for production and assembly, safe lifting, and precise closing. When lifting, both safety risks and components must be considered. Stability, so the lifting equipment must be specially selected. After evaluation, we adopted SAC4500."

Wang Xinqiang, the operator of Zhejiang Deqingyi Construction Machinery Leasing Co., Ltd., said: "The steel arch span is about 62 meters, the lifting height is about 22 meters, and the maximum lifting weight of a single piece is about 12.3 tons. Although the weight of a single piece is large and the structure is large, SAC4500 is easy to do. The 37-meter main boom and the 60-meter tower boom can easily complete the task under the premise of maintaining quality and quantity."

Hangzhou Century Center will create a "seven-star arched moon" pattern with the surrounding Civic Center, Lotus Bowl, Hangzhou International Expo Center, Riyue Tonghui and other core buildings, as a large-scale complex on the main axis of the core area of the Olympic Sports Expo City The project covers a wealth of business formats such as skyscrapers, star-rated hotels, administrative mansions, headquarters office bases, fashion, culture, and commerce.
