On the afternoon of April 12, on the "Rongyang 288" drilling ship, as the last drilling casing was taken out of the undulating sea, China Railway Design Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as: China Railway Engineering Corporation) undertook the overall design The successful completion of the offshore exploration work of the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge on the Sujiayong Railway has laid a solid foundation for the preliminary design of the project. The Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge is 29.2 kilometers long and has a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. After completion, it will become the world's longest high-speed railway cross-sea bridge with the highest construction standards.

According to Zhang Peng, head of geology of China Railway Engineering, “The exploration of the offshore section of the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge lasted 5 months, which was completed two and a half months earlier than the original plan. The sea surface was windy, high waves, strong tides, and currents, and the seabed stability was poor. There are great risks and challenges in offshore exploration, and the difficulty is extremely high." In order to overcome the difficulty of conventional offshore drilling methods and low success rate, the geological exploration team has innovated and developed needle-shaped cemented carbide after many on-site explorations and technical demonstrations. The ribbed heel tube drilling technology increases the success rate of one-time drilling from 60% to more than 90%.

According to Zhang Jian, chief engineer of China Railway Construction Tongsu-Jiaong-Ningbo Railway Project, the Hangzhou Bay Bridge is designed according to ballastless tracks, with three navigation bridges in the north, middle and south, and approach bridges in the sea, shallow water and shallow water areas. It is an ultra-long high-speed railway. The bridge cluster project will set a number of world records and will be a milestone in the field of railway bridges and even bridge engineering in the world.

The bridge is about 29.2 kilometers long, making it the world's longest high-speed railway cross-sea bridge.

The bridge is the world's first high-speed rail sea-crossing bridge with a strong tide bay, ultra-low water resistance, and a fully embedded cap foundation.

The North Channel Bridge has a main span of 450 meters and uses a concrete box-steel truss composite beam cable-stayed bridge with ballastless tracks. This is the first time it has been used in the construction of high-speed railways in the world. The approach bridge at sea adopts a prestressed concrete continuous beam with an 80-meter main span, with a maximum joint length of 3,080 meters. Its ultra-long joint, large-span, and curved continuous beam seamless line set a world record.

"In the design of the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, we have also carried out the full life cycle research and design of multiple systems such as evacuation and rescue, operation and maintenance, and four-electric integration of the railway ultra-long cross-sea bridge, so as to accumulate engineering experience for the subsequent construction of the cross-sea railway project. "Zhang Jian said. The Tong-Su-Jia-Yong Railway is a part of the coastal passage of the medium and long-term railway network, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The project starts from Nantong West Station in Nantong City, crosses the Yangtze River, crosses Hangzhou Bay after passing through Suzhou City and Jiaxing City, and introduces into Ningbo Hub via Cixi City. The main line of the whole line has an operating length of 310 kilometers, with 10 stations in Nantong West, Zhangjiagang, Changshu West, Suzhou North, Fenhu, Jiaxing North, Jiaxing South, Haiyan West, Cixi, and Zhuangqiao.

After the completion of the Tong-Su-Jia-Yong Railway, it will accelerate the improvement of the Yangtze River Delta rail transit network system, greatly shorten the time and space distance from Ningbo to Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing and other places, and further guide the coordinated development of the region. It will become a new engine for the development of the Yangtze River Delta region and become the Yangtze River Economic Belt. , The integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region injected surging momentum.Editor/Bao Hongying
