On April 19, 2021, the Hefei City Construction Conference was held. As of the end of March, there were 778 projects under construction in Hefei City, with a total investment of 10.03 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.8% compared to 2019 (9.302 billion yuan).

 In 2020 (6.297 billion yuan), a year-on-year increase of 59.3%. There are 183 new projects planned for the second quarter, including highways such as Jinzhai Road, Baogong Avenue, Susong Road, Wenzhong Road, and Hefei No. 1 Middle East Campus.

Promote the construction of expressways

The 7 expressways under construction are progressing smoothly. The rapid transformation of the South Second Ring Road (including the Susong Road Interchange) is under construction of rainwater and sewage and electric drainage pipelines, and the bridge is under construction of pile foundations and caps; and the North Ring of the Second Ring Road ( East section) construction of ramp bridges, surface roads and integrated pipelines is underway. The 14 expressways to be built in 2021 are progressing as planned. In terms of rail transit construction, 9 projects under construction are currently being accelerated, and the overall progress is smooth. Among them, the east-west roads of Nanping Road Station and Chengkan Road Station of Line 4 were smoothly released; the north section of Line 5 Tongcheng South Road Station was released to the east-west direction of the South Second Ring Road; the Yujiu Road Station of East Extension Line of Line 2 completed the main body of the station Excavation of the foundation pit, some stations on the extension of Line 3 have entered the main structure construction, and the first phase of the southern extension of Line 4 and the first phase of the 6, 7, and 8 lines are carrying out the construction of the main structure of the station.

Construction of new Hefei West Railway Station

The new Hefei West Railway Station and the Hexin High-speed Railway are under construction preparations; the Shanghai-Hefei Section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chongqing High-speed Railway has been reviewed by the National Development and Reform Commission, and the China Railway Group plans to review the preliminary design in April; the Hewu Section has been reviewed by the China Railway Group.

Mingchao Expressway is accelerating the construction work. The roadbed engineering has completed about 65% of the engineering volume, and the bridge engineering has completed about 77% of the engineering volume. It is planned to be completed by the end of 2022; S14 Hefei-Zhoukou Expressway Chuzhou to Hefei to Shouxian (Baoyi) Section and S1411 Hefei Ring Expressway link project has completed the route plan review and the preparation of the first draft of the work report, and the land pre-examination and the preparation of related topics are underway; S11 Chaohuang Expressway, S32 Xuanshang Expressway Wuwei (Tower Bridge) to Chaohu (Muji) ) Section and the section from Beijing-Taiwan Expressway to Lu'an Boundary are in the preliminary work.

For the whole year of 2021, it is planned to implement 46 projects to open up dead ends (20 projects will be continued and 26 projects will be newly started). As of now, the main lanes of Guangde Road (East Changjiang Road-Xiangshui Road, Leshui Road-Heping Road) and Huainan Road (Luqiao Road-Shengli Road) have been completed and are expected to be released to traffic before the end of April; Nanping Road (Tangquan Road- South Second Ring Road) and other 15 broken road projects are under construction; the 26 broken roads to be built this year are progressing as planned, of which Hezuohua South Road, Yixian Road, and Huaibei Road have completed construction bidding. The project plans to start in the second quarter
