On April 20, 2021, Malawi Vice President Solos Chilima visited the China Construction Second Bureau Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. to visit the Kalunga Water Pipeline Upgrade Project. According to reports, the water supply project is a key livelihood project in Malawi, including the design and construction of water supply pipelines, water treatment plants, water storage tanks, pumping stations, water distribution pipelines, and auxiliary office buildings and roads.
