On April 21, 2021, the inauguration ceremony of China’s first flexible hoisting power station for mining engineering equipment-"Hua Neng North Company-Qingneng Yuan Weijiamao Power Station Project" was held in Weijiamao Open-pit Coal Mine, marking The Weijiamao Demonstration Project of Changing Mining Cards for Electricity has entered the trial operation stage.

Fully automated design

The Weijiamao Mining Card Replacement Demonstration Project is the first power replacement station with independent intellectual property rights of the group company. It was launched in November 2020 and completed the construction, installation, commissioning and trial operation of the planned nodes. The battery replacement system adopts a fully automated design, and realizes unmanned battery replacement through image recognition technology. The battery replacement time is about 5 to 6 minutes, reaching the domestic advanced level. All battery-exchange mining trucks and battery status information can be uploaded, and combined with historical data analysis to predict the health status of the battery, early warning and automatic intervention of failures and fire hazards can be carried out.
