A budget has been drawn up for the planned southern transit road project in the Novosibirsk region of Siberia. The construction of the 26 kilometers of roads is expected to cost 664.6 million U.S. dollars.

Construction is expected to start in 2023. The route is planned to be completed between 2026 and 2027. A series of loans will constitute a large part of the package of funds required for the project.

The Russian government is keen to develop the Siberian economy in this area. Improved transportation links will promote the economic development of Siberia and Russia as a whole. Editor/Sang Xiaomei
