The route of the Dongtai-Xinghua Expressway project starts from Nanshenzao Town, Dongtai City, connects to the built Shenhai Expressway, passes westward through Liangduo Town and Diduo Town, ends at Dado Town, Xinghua City, and connects to the proposed Nanjing Yan Expressway and Yanjing Expressway to be rebuilt and expanded have a total length of about 37.725 kilometers (including 25.5 kilometers in the Dongtai section).
