On June 3, 2021, Sinoma Energy won the bid for the waste heat power generation transformation project of Pakistan DG KHAN Cement Company. Prior to this, Sinoma Energy Conservation successively undertook Pakistan's DG KHAN coal-fired power station project (30MW), DG KHAN waste heat power generation project (12MW), and DG KHAN HUB self-supplied power station project 30MW coal-fired +10MW waste heat power station project. Winning the bid is the fourth cooperation between Sinoma Energy Conservation and DG KHAN Cement Company.

DG KHAN Cement Co., Ltd. is one of the largest cement groups in Pakistan. The winning project is to use the waste heat of three Wärtsilä internal combustion engines in the DG KHAN cement plant, install three waste heat boilers, and connect to the existing waste heat power generation system. . In addition, taking into account the call of the local government, in response to water saving requirements, the existing waste heat power generation cooling water system of the project was replaced with an air cooling system.
