SEPCOIII signs Vietnam 80MW offshore wind power project

On the afternoon of June 8, 2021, Shandong Power Construction Third Engineering Company and NEBTO, the Vietnamese owner, formally signed an EPC contract and a 20-year operation and maintenance contract for the 80MW offshore wind power project in Ben Thu province, Vietnam. This is another gratifying achievement of the company's deep cultivation of domestic and international offshore wind power markets.

Affected by the epidemic, this signing ceremony uses cloud signing. Mr. Surender Singh, CEO of Singapore owner NEXIF ENERGY, Mr. Sakarin Tangkavachiranon, marketing director of Thai owner RATCH GROUP, company deputy general manager Ren Jianhui, wind power company general manager Xu Haijun, overseas marketing manager Zhu Lintao and other related personnel attended the signing ceremony.

This project is located in Ben Ting province, southern Vietnam. Singapore’s NEXIF ENERGY and Thailand’s RATCH GROUP invested 50% to establish Vietnam’s NEBTO project company for investment and construction. The project will build 19 domestic gold wind fans with a stand-alone capacity of 4.5 MW and a height of 100 meters. Responsible for the project's geological survey, design, equipment procurement, transportation, domestic construction and operation and maintenance for 20 years after the project is generated. The official construction period of the project is 16 months.

This project is the company's first offshore wind power EPC project, the first project implemented in Vietnam, and the first wind power operation and maintenance general contracting project. The signing of the project has expanded the company's offshore wind power performance, expanded the company's market share in Vietnam, and expanded the company's brand influence, laying a solid foundation for the company to deepen the domestic and international offshore wind power markets.
