On June 9, the kick-off meeting of the Zhejiang Comprehensive Transportation Industry Promotion Conference was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. A reporter from Jiandao.com learned from the scene that Zhejiang plans to develop transportation investment during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and the comprehensive transportation investment scale will reach 2 trillion yuan within five years. Among them, Zhejiang will further accelerate the construction of new transportation infrastructure and build 1,000 kilometers of smart highways.
In recent years, Zhejiang Province has taken the lead in fostering and developing the comprehensive transportation industry in China. It has held the Zhejiang International Smart Transportation Industry Expo for three consecutive years. The total number of visitors to the exhibition exceeded 119,000, and the total contracted investment of the project reached 105.4 billion yuan.
According to statistics, the total output of Zhejiang's comprehensive transportation industry in 2020 will reach 2.6 trillion yuan, and the average annual growth rate of industrial added value in the past four years is 7%. Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Quzhou, Zhoushan and other places have deployed more than ten large-scale transportation construction industrialization bases, with an industrial scale of nearly 10 billion yuan.
Ren Zhong, a first-level inspector of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation, said that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Zhejiang will promote the construction of a high-level transportation province, and the comprehensive transportation investment will reach 2 trillion yuan. "Investment in transportation and large-scale construction have brought unprecedented new opportunities to the development of the integrated transportation industry. This is a huge market of trillions."
According to reports, in terms of new transportation infrastructure, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Zhejiang will further accelerate the construction of new transportation infrastructure, build 1,000 kilometers of smart highways, 400 kilometers of smart waterways, and build Ningbo Zhoushan Port 5G port and Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou Smart airport, upgrade the transportation "big data center", and carry out the layout and construction of 600 kilometers per hour high-speed magnetic levitation channel.
"This will bring about a number of emerging industries such as the intelligent transformation of transportation facilities, the R&D and manufacturing of intelligent transportation equipment, and its benefits are immeasurable. In the next step, we will gradually promote the deployment of new transportation infrastructure across the province, and speed up unmanned driving and high-speed magnetic levitation. Other transportation technologies take the lead in breakthrough applications, providing continuous innovation power for new transportation infrastructure." Ren Zhong said.
In terms of ports and waterways, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the total investment in Zhejiang’s ports and waterways will exceed 100 billion yuan, with 40 new berths above 10,000 tons and 400 kilometers of 1,000-ton waterways, forming 3 ten million TEU ports. District, supporting Ningbo Zhoushan Port from the world's largest port to the world's strong port.
"The development of port and shipping will bring an industry scale of more than 60 billion shipbuilding industry systems, and the construction of a world-class strong port will also require the improvement of high-end shipping services. Modern shipping services, the development of port-industry-city linkages, and the global layout of ports will be the port of our province. The future direction of aviation development." Ren Zhong said.
On the same day, the time and location of the 4th Zhejiang International Smart Transportation Industry Expo were also announced. It is reported that the Expo will take "transportation digitization, digital industrialization" as the theme, and focus on "digitization, materialization, and sceneization". Its exhibition halls will be laid out in accordance with the "5+1" concept, including rail transit, aerospace, port and aviation Logistics, digital transportation, and low-carbon transportation 5 offline exhibition halls and 1 cloud exhibition, showcasing the achievements and technologies of nearly 400 companies.
