The intelligent container terminal project (terminal part) of section C of the Beijiang Port Area of Tianjin Port was completed. The shoreline of the terminal is 1,100 meters long, and three intelligent container terminal berths are newly built, which can meet the current all-weather simultaneous berthing operation of the world's largest container ship, with an annual throughput capacity of up to 3 million TEUs.

“The construction of the intelligent container terminal in Section C consists of 3 berths, a shoreline of 1,100 meters, a total of 12 quay cranes, 42 automated rail cranes, and 76 horizontal transportation equipment. This project will start at the end of December 2019 and will start in 2021. On January 17th, we realized the joint debugging and joint test of 1 berth." The intelligent terminal of section C breaks the limitation of traditional automatic terminal, adopts the world's first "unmanned truck horizontal transportation", "stack yard horizontally arranged side loading and unloading + single trolley ground centralized unlocking" automatic process mode, 3D laser ship scanning, and realizes automatic seaside alignment. Position, land-side one-click to box, greatly improve resource utilization and reduce operating costs.
