According to data, the second line of the Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline Project starts at the Wangchang Gas Transmission Station in Fuling. It passes through Chongqing Shizhu, Hubei Enshi, Yichang, Jingzhou and Qianjiang, and renovates and expands the Qianjiang Compressor Station of the Sichuan Gas Pipeline. It is connected to the new gas pipeline through the built Qianjiang Compressor Station, with a total investment of 10.22778 million yuan. The project is conducive to optimizing the energy structure, improving the atmospheric environment, and achieving sustainable social and economic development.

On May 21, the feasibility study report of the Sichuan-East Gas Transmission Line 2 (Sichuan-Chongqing-Hubei) natural gas pipeline project passed expert review.
