Recently, Energy China Southwest Institute won the bid for the integrated design of the feasibility study and initial installation of the 600,000-kilowatt gas turbine combined cycle power station in Xinhai Industrial Park, Indonesia.
The project is located in Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. It is a self-supplied power station for a nickel-electric integration project jointly invested and constructed by Shandong Xinhai Technology Co., Ltd., China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd., and Brazil's Vale. The project plans to build eight RKEF ferronickel smelting production lines, 600,000 kilowatt gas turbine combined cycle generating units and other supporting facilities. After the project is completed, it will meet the power load demand in the entire Xinhai Industrial Park in Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, and provide strong support for the promotion of local economic development and the upgrading of Indonesia's industrial level.
